Jakarta, March 17, 2022 _ After the transfer of Pelindo shares to the subholding PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik/SPSL, we are committed to creating added value with the aim of realizing integrated logistics services.
"One of the company's efforts in creating integrated logistics services is through infrastructure development, one of which is through the construction of the Cibitung Cilincing Toll Road (JTCC) which is also a National Strategic Project whose development is entrusted to PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik Group through its subsidiary PT Access Pelabuhan Indonesia (API). )," said the President Director of SPSL, Joko Noerhudha, in Jakarta, Thursday (17/3).
According to Joko Noerhudha, the construction of the JTCC is expected to support the smooth flow of goods by providing land accessibility that connects a large industrial area to the east of Jakarta with Tanjung Priok Port. This toll road access will certainly have a major impact in efforts to reduce logistics costs, which is in line with the company's vision to become the best solution provider for an integration logistics ecosystem.
"The construction of the JTCC is also carried out as SPSL's participation in supporting the Government's program to support the acceleration of Indonesia's economic progress, smooth mobility, commuter movement and logistics and is one of the company's efforts to create value creation and financial uplift," he said.
In general, this toll road has a length of 34.76 km and is part of the construction of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 2. The Cibitung-Cilincing toll road section, which is part of JORR 2, is located in the North-South corridor, starting from Cibitung Interchange on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at KM 25, heading north in Babelan District and continuing west to meet the North Outer Ring Road at Cilincing Interchange. The project location covers two areas, namely Bekasi Regency in West Java and DKI Jakarta Province.
The JTCC construction consists of 4 sections, namely Cibitung-Telaga Asih (2.65 km); Tambelang Asih Lake (10.1 km); Tambelang-Tarumajaya (14.35 km); and Tarumajaya-Cilincing (7.2 km). Currently, JTCC has operated a 2.65 km long toll road (Section 1) from the Cibitung Interchange to the Telaga Asih Interchange. And based on the results of the calculation of the average daily traffic (LHR) on the operation of the section 1 toll road, it has reached 20,000 vehicles per day, this is a very good achievement considering that this toll road is not yet fully connected to other toll roads in the vicinity.
"Until now, the construction of the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road (JTCC) is still ongoing and is targeted to be fully operational along 34.76 km by 2022 which is expected to gradually realize service excellence in the logistics chain and become a solution to national logistics problems," closed Joko Noerhudha.
