Tax Compliance, Pelindo Win the Four Big Taxpayer Awards

Jakarta, March 23, 2022 – As a BUMN that has high compliance and contributes to taxation, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo won an award from the Tax Service Office (KPP) for Large Taxpayers Four last Thursday (17/3) in Labuan Bajo . With this award, Pelindo will get benefits in the form of convenience in obtaining tax facilities from the Directorate General of Taxes.

On this occasion, the Head of the Big Four Taxpayer KPP, Budi Prasetya, directly gave a plaque of appreciation to the Deputy President Director of Pelindo Hambra and a certificate of appreciation to the Director of Finance and Risk Management Mega Satria.

"We appreciate and are grateful for the award given to Pelindo. Hopefully this can be an incentive for us to have more awareness and compliance with the importance of tax contributions for the progress of the Indonesian nation," said Hambra.

During 2021, a total of Rp3.19 trillion in tax payments consisting of Rp1.57 trillion in income tax and Rp1.61 trillion in value added tax have been paid by Pelindo.

Post-merger, Pelindo has taken two steps of corporate action as a whole Restructuring of Port BUMN, including through share transfers and handover of business operations. On March 2, 2022, a share transfer of Pelindo shares was carried out with the Pelindo Solusi Logistik Subholding, after previously on January 4, 2022, a share transfer was carried out to three other Subholdings, namely PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, PT Pelindo Multi Terminal and PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim. These four Pelindo Subholdings have three main tasks, namely determining port service policies according to their business lines that are in line with Pelindo's strategic policies, carrying out operational powers and duties from Pelindo, and as a revenue generator.
