Collaboration between BSI and Pelindo Accelerates the Growth of the Islamic Finance Ecosystem

Banda Aceh, November 1, 2022 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk or BSI agreed on a strategic collaboration to encourage the growth of the Islamic finance ecosystem through the Indonesian maritime sector. This is stated through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia concerning Banking Services Through the Host to Host System. This collaboration was signed by Hambra, Deputy President Director of Pelindo and Bob Tyasika Ananta, Deputy President Director of BSI.

With this synergy, Pelindo and BSI will be more solid to take part in accelerating the growth of the sharia-based national financial economy through sharia banking system services that will be implemented at Pelindo. Also present at the signing ceremony were the Head of the Economic Bureau of Aceh Province, Mr. Amirullah, Chairman of Commission 3 of the DPRA, Mr. Dr. T Raja Keumangan, MH, Chairman of the Aceh Sharia Supervisory Board, Chairman of the Aceh Kadin, Head of the Aceh BI representative office, Head of OJK Aceh, Head of Aceh Customs, Syahbandar, stakeholders and port service users.
