In order to support the smooth flow of homecoming during the 2022 Christmas and 2023 New Year periods, Pelindo conducts monitoring activities for passenger flows with a monitoring period starting from 10 December 2022 to 09 January 2023 *(D-15 to D+15)

As of December 15, 2022 or D-10, there were 261,314 passengers, an increase of 35.80% in the same period compared to 2021. The dominant passengers from each region were:

Regional 1 = Tanjung Pinang (31,281) and Tanjung Balai Karimun (19,275)

Regional 2 = Tanjung Priok (3,703) and Pontianak (2,816)

Regional 3 = Tanjung Perak (16,331)

Regional 4 = Makassar (15,987), Ambon (12,144) and Parepare (10,899)
