Jakarta, 7 April 2023 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo Regional 2 guarantees that operational activities in their area will continue to run normally during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday on 19-25 April 2023.
After the issuance of the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion, Minister of Manpower and Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform regarding National holidays and collective leave, Pelindo Regional 2 as a logistics chain consisting of 12 ports in its territory will continue to operate by providing services and ensuring outflow Incoming goods at the port runs smoothly. Regional Head 2 of PT Pelindo, Drajat Sulistyo, said that 12 ports spread across the islands of Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan will continue to operate during the Eid holiday by serving the needs of service users 24 hours 7 days non-stop, the intended services start from ship services , loading and unloading of goods, stacking of goods, provision of clean water for ships and other supporting services.
Drajat added, service users do not need to worry about the joint holidays that have been set by the government, operational activities will continue during the Eid holidays, because Pelindo Regional 2 has implemented a system and the use of digital device applications, both on the sea side and on the land side which includes the terminal ports, warehouses and other supporting areas.
Using digital devices from the sea, Pelindo Regional 2 utilizes Inaportnet technology and other digital applications such as VMS or Phinnisi, MOS, SIMOP for anchoring, piloting, tugboats, cruise and mooring activities.
Meanwhile, digital devices from the land side are available for the Container TOS and Non-Container TOS applications, for loading and unloading activities and the movement of goods, while in several other supporting areas, they have utilized the Behandle Operating System, Warehouse Operating System, and Autogate System applications.
