Commitment to Support the 2023 ASEAN Summit Pelindo Serves Delivery of 200 Electric Cars in Labuan Bajo

Labuan Bajo, 2 May 2023 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo is committed to continuing to provide its support for the success of the 2023 ASEAN Summit or Summit in Labuan Bajo in the coming days. Through its line of business, namely port services, Pelindo has served the delivery of a number of facilities for the succession of the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.

Dimaz Yuliono, General Manager of Pelindo's Labuan Bajo Branch, said that through one of its port branches on Flores Island, namely the Labuan Bajo Multipurpose Terminal, which is one of the logistics and goods gateways in Flores, in the past week it has been busy receiving various facilities for the 2023 ASEAN Summit from various regions in Indonesia.

Among them is the acceptance of around 200 electric cars at the Labuan Bajo Multipurpose Terminal, Monday (01/05) Afternoon. The electric cars are sent directly by the distributor to Flores Island via the Labuan Bajo Multipurpose Terminal. Later these electric cars will be used for operations during the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.

In addition, Dimaz also said that apart from electric cars, a few days earlier the Multipurpose Terminal also served the process of docking ships carrying a number of security equipment and facilities belonging to the Indonesian Navy and the police which were prepared to secure the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.
