Pelindo Ready to Alert the Jayanegara 306 Tugboat at Labuhan Bajo Port to Support the Implementation of the ASEAN Summit

Labuhan Bajo, 5 May 2023 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) is ready to support the implementation of the ASEAN Summit which will be held in Labuan Bajo City, East Nusa Tenggara on 09-11 May 2023. In order to support the smooth running of this event, Pelindo has placing the Jayanegara 306 tugboat at Labuhan Bajo Port.

The Jayanegara 306 tugboat owned by Pelindo has the ability to assist large and small vessels in maneuvering in the waters of Labuhan Bajo Port. Equipped with 2 engines with a power capacity of 1500 HP each, this tugboat can help ships to maneuver safely and quickly.

According to Pelindo Regional Head 3, Ardhy Wahyu Basuki, the presence of the Jayanegara 306 tugboat at Labuhan Bajo Port is Pelindo's commitment to providing the best service to customers and supporting the Indonesian government in holding the ASEAN Summit.

"We hope that the presence of this tugboat can help the smooth operation of ships that will come to Labuhan Bajo Port during the implementation of the ASEAN Summit," he said.

Ardhy added, KT Jayanegara had arrived at Labuan Bajo Harbor since Tuesday (02/05) and would be on standby until the summit was held. Currently, KT Jayanegara has served the KRI dr. Soeharso belonged to the Indonesian Navy who had arrived in Labuan Bajo.

"Currently, KT Jayanegara is in Labuan Bajo and has carried out its first assignment in serving the KRI dr. Soeharso. Apart from that, the ship will also help smooth the process of docking for KM Sinabung in the near future," concluded Ardhy
