Pelindo Prepares Stock Exchange for Four Sub-Holding Management

Jakarta, 20 December 2021 – As part of the Port Services BUMN Integration Synergy Program, the merger of Pelindo I-IV into Pelindo and the establishment of four Sub-Holding under it to manage the company's core business. Each of these Sub-Holding also serves as the parent for the former Pelindo I-IV Subsidiaries in accordance with their line of business.

The four Pelindo sub-holdings that have been established are PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas to manage the container business cluster, PT Pelindo Multi Terminal to manage non-container business clusters. Furthermore, PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik to manage logistics business clusters and regional development and PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim to manage marine business clusters, equipment, and other port services.

"The next step in the merger of Pelindo is a joint corporate action or the transfer of shares owned by Pelindo in 20 subsidiaries that manage the core business to Sub-Holding," said Group Head of the Pelindo Corporate Secretariat, Ali Mulyono.

"By holding these subsidiaries into sub-holdings, it is hoped that each business cluster can be managed more focused and optimally to be able to pursue the value creation target from the merger of Pelindo until 2025," added Ali.

 

 

 

Until now, notification has been made to minority shareholders, internal companies and the public, both through the Company's internal media channels and mass media on Thursday, December 2, 2021. The target for the implementation of share transfers to Sub Holding is January 2022.

"We hope that in the second quarter of 2022, the company's core business in each Sub Holding has been well organized so that it can be consolidated according to its business cluster in Sub-Holding," concluded Ali.

In addition, here are the 20 Subsidiaries, which manage the core business, which will be included in Pelindo's four Sub-Holding Companies. PT Pelindo Container Terminal will manage PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia, PT IPC Container Terminal, PT Kaltim Kariangau Terminal, PT Prima Multi Terminal, PT Prima Container Terminal, PT Surabaya Container Terminal, and PT Teluk Lamong Terminal. Next, PT Pelindo Multi Terminal will manage PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok and PT Indonesia Vehicle Terminal Tbk.

Furthermore, PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik will be the parent for PT Multi Terminal Indonesia, PT Nusantara Terminal Service, PT Prima Indonesia Logistik, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Developer, and PT Prima Kawasan Pembangunan. And the last six Subsidiaries, namely PT Energi Pelabuhan Indonesia, PT Equiport Inti Indonesia, PT Jasa Pelabuhan Indonesia Equipment, PT Pelindo Marine Service, PT Pengrukan Indonesia and PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk joined the Sub-Holding PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim.
