Pelindo Petikemas Receives 16 K3 Awards from the Menaker

Surabaya (24/06) - Subholding PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP) won 16 Occupational Safety and Health (K3) awards in 2023 from the Indonesian Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziah. The award consists of 4 categories including zero accidents, Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3), prevention and control of Covid-19, and prevention and control of HIV-AIDS.

Corporate Secretary of PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Widyaswendra said the award was given to each terminal managed by the company and had met the criteria set by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower. The award is a manifestation of the company's commitment to implementing K3 in the work environment.

"This award is a motivation for us to make OSH a part of the culture inherent in every operational activity of the company," said Widyaswendra, Thursday (22/06).

Furthermore, Widyaswendra said that there were 5 terminals or work units that received the zero accident category award, namely the Bitung Container Terminal (TPK), New Makassar TPK, Banjarmasin TPK, Semarang TPK, and Belawan TPK.

For the SMK3 award, there are 8 terminals or work units, namely the Head Office of PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, TPK Nilam, TPK Semarang, TPK Belawan. Next are TPK Bitung, TPK New Makassar, TPK Ambon and TPK Banjarmasin.

Meanwhile, TPK New Makassar and TPK Banjarmasin won the awards for the category of prevention and control of Covid-19. The last category, namely prevention and control of HIV-AIDS, was accepted by TPK Belawan.
