Improve Services in the Sea Transportation Sector, Ministry of Transportation Signs Addendum to Concession Agreement on Existing Ports with PT Pelindo

Jakarta (13/9) - A total of 5 (five) Technical Implementation Units (UPT) within the Directorate General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation signed 8 (eight) Addendums to the Concession Agreement at the Existing Port with PT Pelindo (Persero), namely the Head of the Belawan Main Port Authority Office, the Head of the Tanjung Priok Main Port Authority Office, the Head of the Tanjung Perak Main Port Authority Office, the Head of the Makassar Main Port Authority Office, and the Head of the Pontianak Class II Harbor and Port Authority Office.

The signing of the Addendum to the Concession Agreement at the Existing Port was witnessed by the Secretary of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Lollan Panjaitan and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) in this case the Director of Strategy of PT Pelindo (Persero), Prasetyo, Wednesday (13/9) at the Ministry of Transportation Office Jakarta.

Secretary of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Lollan Panjaitan said the signing of the Addendum to the Concession Agreement showed a joint commitment between the Ministry of Transportation and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) in order to improve port management in Indonesia to be more professional, effective and efficient in the midst of challenges and an increasingly complex world economic situation.
