Surabaya (19/09) - Terminal operator company PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP) is currently aggressively transforming all of the company's work areas. This is done by SPTP to improve services to shipping companies that are its main customers. Service standards in the container terminal area are the company's main concern to provide optimal and efficient services.
PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Corporate Secretary Widyaswendra said the transformation carried out by the company touched various aspects. There are 4 stages of container terminal transformation carried out by SPTP. In the first stage, it identified the current service gap with standardized services. Performing field rearrangement, meeting basic needs for operational activities and analyzing the conditions and needs of a terminal equipment.
"In the next stage, we also standardize skills and knowledge for operational workers. This is important because they will carry out operational activities in the field," explained Widyaswendra, Tuesday (19/09).
