Two Years after Pelindo Merger, Minister of Transportation Inaugurates PTOS-M

Jakarta, September 27, 2023 - Marking two years after the merger, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero)/Pelindo launched an integrated multi terminal port operating system called PTOS-M (Pelindo Terminal Operating System Multipurpose). This system is a single platform operation support application for port services on non container cargo based on planning and controlling functions. The launch was carried out by the Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi together with the President Director of Pelindo, Arif Suhartono, during Pelindo's Voice of Customers event (27/09) in Jakarta. 

"I appreciate what has been done today and we know that there is one thing that has been done significantly, where the PTOSM application has been applied. I hope this becomes our new way of implementing our activities," Budi said in his speech.  

The system has been used in 16 port branches in Pelindo's working area since the end of 2022, and will gradually be operated at other terminals in Indonesia. PTOSM has an architecture that is integrated with other systems such as the customer portal, ship service system, and financial service system. In addition to being integrated with several systems, PTOSM has features that facilitate services such as online booking requests, operation planning, storage inventory, and control & monitoring.
