Expansion, Pelindo Daya Sejahtera Manages 10,000 Pelindo Group TAD Workers
Surabaya, 1 April 2022 - The Pelindo merger brings fresh air to PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera (PDS), a subsidiary of Pelindo which is engaged in the provision of outsourcing, assessment, training and consultancy. As of April 2022, PDS is trusted to manage additional Pelindo Group Outsourced Workers (TAD) as many as 4,625 people spread from Sumatra to Jakarta and Makassar, so the total employees managed by PDS has reached more than 10,000 people.
PDS has been in the outsourcing business for a long time and serves 7 provinces. Its eight years of experience and infrastructure in managing more than 6,600 employees are PDS's key assets in providing excellent service.
“We have equipped ourselves with an IT system that will facilitate competency improvement, management and supervision of employees spread across various provinces. For example, attendance reports, salary slips, and leave letters can all be done through a mobile app called New MyPDS," said Suroso Wahyu Prihartono, President Director of PDS.
Furthermore, Suroso ensured that PDS works transparently and complies with the Manpower Act, "Even for signing PKWT contracts, we have been using e-contract applications since 2020. Employees can sign contracts anywhere and anytime, as well as download contracts. Their PKWT is proof of PDS' commitment to providing guarantees and legal certainty to workers.
The digitization of PDS business processes is also proof of PDS' commitment to sustainable development. PDS has developed many digitization processes, starting from customer portal websites, job portals, e-recruitment, online assessment centers, e-learning, e-archives, and so on to improve the quality of the human resources provided. PDS employees who are spread across various provinces are not a problem, because PDS already has a qualified support system. Paper consumption in the process of managing employee administration has also approached zero, as evidenced by the Silver Awards for the New MyPDS application from the PR Indonesia Awards in 2021.
In addition, PDS is known as a company that complies with the protection of workers' rights. This predicate was given by the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of East Java Province in early 2022. Suroso added, “We are committed to providing the rights that TAD should receive. In essence, we want all parties to comply with regulations. If it has been implemented in accordance with regulations, we believe that both service users and employees can work in peace.”
