Promising Potential, Meratus-owned MV Cilegon Docks at TTL

Surabaya, February 6, 2024 - Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL), a subsidiary of Sub Holding Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP) welcomed the arrival of a new ship MV Cilegon owned by Meratus shipping company. The ship carrying 220 box reefer containers departed from China Taicang with a direct route to Surabaya and made its first berth at TTL.

The welcoming procession of MV Cilegon was attended by Arief Suhartono, President Director of Pelindo, Farid Belbouab, CEO of Meratus, Directors of PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, directors of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, commissioners and directors of Meratus.

Farid Belbouab CEO of Meratus stated that this strategic asset investment shows a significant leap forward in Meratus' commitment to cold chain capabilities. Currently MV Cilegon will serve the Kalimantan region, while market demand for fresh food needs continues to increase.
