Jakarta, 10 August 2024 - A total of 20 State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) have recorded significant tax contributions, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo being the largest tax contributor from the SOE logistics cluster with an amount of Rp 5.6 trillion to state revenue.
This achievement is a testament to the company's dedication and strong commitment to supporting the national economy through tax compliance. This increase not only reflects healthy financial performance, but also the company's responsibility towards tax contributions that can increase benefits for society and support national development.
Erick Thohir, Minister of State-owned Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia, said that the ongoing transformation of SOEs has improved the company's performance and productivity. ‘Alhamdulillah, with improved performance, state-owned companies can contribute greatly in terms of State Tax Deposits of IDR 439 trillion by 2023,’ said Erick.
‘This result is also inseparable from the hard work of all commissioners, directors, and all BUMN people. Thank you to those of you who continue to strive to make a major contribution to Indonesia,’ Erick added.
