Pelindo Sukses Gelar BUMN Learning Festival Roadshow Perdana di Medan

Medan, 26 September 2024 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) / Pelindo successfully held one of the series of BUMN Learning Festival 2024 at Graha Pelindo Medan on Thursday (26/9). With the theme ‘Lifelong Learning Mindset: Why It Matters for BUMN Employees’, this activity is the first edition of the BUMN Learning Festival roadshow initiated by the Ministry of BUMN in collaboration with the Indonesian Human Capital Forum (FHCI) and the BUMN School of Excellence (BSE).

SOE HR Management Coordinator Yudi Yudhawan explained that the best quality of human resources is needed to support the sustainability of the company's business growth, especially in the context of SOEs that have a role as value creators and agents of development.

‘This activity has an important meaning as a forum to encourage all BUMN personnel to continue to learn and develop capabilities on an ongoing basis to support one of the visions of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in helping to build Advanced Human Resources,’ said Yudi.

‘The Ministry of SOEs has established AKHLAK as the Main Values of SOE HR. One of the main values in AKHLAK is ‘Competent’, which plays a role in encouraging learning and capability development. In addition, the SOE's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) also emphasises the importance of ‘Learning’, thus becoming the meeting point between the company and the SOE Group People,’ he said.

This year, the theme ‘Building Sustainable Learning Culture’ was chosen to encourage the growth of the desire and need to learn from all BUMN personnel in order to increase competence that will benefit themselves and the company.

The SOE Learning Festival 2024 consists of a series of activities, namely Self Learning, namely independent learning activities carried out by SOE personnel, either through online learning platforms or other independent learning activities such as reading books, mentoring and so on. These activities are competed through the Learning Race, a learning competition for SOEs and SOEs as a form of appreciation for the enthusiasm of self-development that has been carried out.

In addition to being conducted independently, the SOE Learning Festival 2024 was also presented offline in five cities during the Learning Roadshow with presenting expert speakers to provide sharing sessions.

TheLearning Roadshow started in Medan, followed by Balikpapan, Makassar, and Denpasar with the peak event to be held in Jakarta. Specifically in Medan, Pelindo successfully held activities that were physically attended by SOE personnel in the North Sumatra region, and also attended online by all SOE personnel in various regions in Indonesia with a total of more than 3,000 participants.

Pelindo's Director of Human Resources and General Affairs, Ihsanuddin Usman said that the implementation of this event is one of the concrete efforts to improve the competence of SOE personnel.
