Pelindo's performance is assessed by BPKP, here are the results

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo received a ‘Very Good’ rating in the Indonesian Corporate Accountability Index (ICORPAX) for the 2023 financial year for healthy and accountable corporate management. In this assessment conducted by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), Pelindo received 81.18%.

ICORPAX is a corporate accountability measurement tool, as a manager of Separated State Assets (KNYD) carried out by BPKP. Director of Supervision of Business Entities for Connectivity, Tourism, Industrial Estates and Housing of BPKP, Yunaedi said ICORPAX aims to support development in accordance with the aims and objectives of the establishment of SOEs.

This achievement also reflects Pelindo's commitment to continue strengthening good corporate governance (GCG) in all its business groups, including through the management of corporate accountability commitments.

Pelindo's Group Head of Corporate Secretariat, Ardhy Wahyu Basuki, said Pelindo's achievement in the ICORPAX assessment is part of the company's commitment to strengthen good corporate governance.

‘This achievement also represents integrity in every activity and process carried out within the company, which is expected to support the acceleration of national development,’ said Ardhy.

The scope of the ICORPAX assessment includes 5 (five) dimensions, namely the Dimensions of Corporate Accountability to National Development, Dimensions of Corporate Accountability to State Finance, Dimensions of Compliance and Operational Effectiveness, Dimensions of Governance System Effectiveness, and Dimensions of Fraud Control Effectiveness.

Based on the assessment of 5 dimensions, the highest achievement was obtained in the Dimension of Corporate Accountability in National Development at 100% which includes an assessment of the level of corporate performance and the level of corporate support for the national development agenda. The ICORPAX assessment results are given in the form of a score and the results of this report are part of the report to the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

‘We are not only pursuing the score, but more on how GCG is actually implemented in the company's corporate activities and actions. We are committed that this good score can reflect the condition of GCG in Pelindo,’ Ardhy concluded.
