Media Port Visit is one of the Company's activities aimed at introducing Pelindo's managed ports. As well as providing more understanding to the public through the media, about the strategic role of ports in supporting the national economy, especially also in international trade and logistics.
Pelindo Regional 4 Executive Director Abdul Azis said that the media is important in the development of the company. ‘Pelindo has always established synergy and collaboration with the media. We realise that the media is very important for the development of the company, both now and in the future,’ Abdul Azis said.
‘The media is also one of Pelindo's stakeholders which is very important as a partner in synergy and collaboration,’ he continued.
He hopes that through the Media Port Visit, the relationship between Pelindo and the media and journalists that has been well established will be even better in the future.
He also hopes that through this activity, the media crew can get more information about Pelindo. Especially related to various positive things that have been pursued by Pelindo, especially in the Manado and Bitung regions, and in Eastern Indonesia (KTI) in general.
‘Hopefully this Media Port Visit activity can be useful, both for Pelindo and also for fellow journalists who have visited and seen firsthand what Pelindo has done in Bitung and its surroundings,’ said Abdul Azis.
